Course	Description
Business Administrator Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to develop further skills within an administrative function. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed for more complex administrative duties such as developing and improving administrative services, digital technology and project management. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which can be provided either in the workplace or within college by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Customer Service Practitioner Level 2	This apprenticeship is designed for new entrants or those with little experience within the customer service sector in customer facing and non-customer facing roles. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work in customer service, in areas such as understanding customers, systems and resources and meeting regulations and legislation. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which will be provided within the workplace by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Customer Service Specialist Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to further develop their skills within customer service. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to take responsibility and ownership of customer service situations and continuous improvement. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which can be provided either in the workplace or within college by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Accounting Level 2	This apprenticeship is designed for new entrants or those with relatively little experience within the accountancy sector. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work in accounting, covering areas such as bookkeeping, accounting software, costing and working in finance. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, provided using a mixture of college and workplace delivery by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Assistant Accountant Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for people who want to further develop their skills within accountancy. It will provide apprentices with the skills and knowledge needed to manage complex accountancy, such as cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, provided using a mixture of college and workplace delivery by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Insurance Practitioner Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those with relatively little experience of working within the insurance industry or those who are new to the sector. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work in the insurance services industry, whilst enabling apprentices to work towards achieving the CII qualification. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which will be provided within the workplace by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Human Resource Support Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those who are wanting to further develop their skills within the HR sector. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work in HR, covering areas such as HR advice, recruitment and selection and legislation and policy. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which will be provided using a mixture of college and workplace delivery by a team of sector expert tutors. HR Consultant / Partner Level 5	The apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to further develop their skills within the HR sector. It will provide apprentices with higher level core skills and knowledge needed to work within a generalised HR role, or a more specialist role such as resourcing or organisational design. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which will be provided using a mixture of college and workplace delivery by a team of sector expert tutors. Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those in first line management, with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team. It will provide apprentices with the advanced core skills and knowledge needed to work within a management capacity, covering areas such as managing and developing team members, managing projects and developing operational plans. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which will be provided in the workplace by a team of sector expert tutors. Alongside this, apprentices will be supported through their training by a designated sector based Training Officer who will review and track apprenticeship progress.
Associate Project Manager Level 4	This apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to further develop their skills within project management. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work within a sector area and to be successful in areas such as governance, leadership, budgeting and cost control and risk management. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which can be provided within the workplace or within college by a team of sector expert tutors. Operations/Departmental Manager Level 5	This apprenticeship is designed for established managers who are looking to further develop. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work within a middle management/senior management capacity, covering areas such as delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and talent management. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which can be provided either in the workplace or within college by a team of sector expert tutors. Chartered Manager Level 6	This apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to further develop their skills within leadership and management. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work within a sector area and to be successful in leading and managing in areas such as project management, strategy, business and finance and digital technologies. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of theory based input and experiential learning, which will be provided both in the workplace and within college by a team of sector expert tutors. Early Years Educator Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to further develop their skills within the childcare sector. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years in areas such as safeguarding of children and young people, improving team practice and contributing to lesson plans and activities. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work in a variety of different schools in areas such as how pupils learn and develop, technology, curriculum and keeping children safe. Playworker Level 2	The apprenticeship is designed for new entrants or those with relatively little experience within the Early Years sector. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to care for and support children in taking responsibility for themselves and their own playing whilst creating a stimulating and adventurous space for children to learn and explore in their own way, following their own intent, ideas and inventions. Digital Marketer Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for new entrants or those with little experience within the digital marketing sector. Care Leadership and Management Level 5	This apprenticeship is designed for those wanting to further develop their skills within the adult social care sector. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to undertake maintenance technician services and repair light vehicles such as cars and vans in either a dealership, or an independent garage. General Welder Level 2	The apprenticeship is designed for new entrants or those with relatively little experience within the Fabrication and Welding sector. It will provide apprentices with core skills and knowledge needed to make high strength joints between two or more parts, using high electrical energy to form an arc. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of practical hands-on work, theory-based classroom activities and workplace skill development which will be provided by a team of sector expert tutors. Metal Fabricator Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those who are wanting to further develop their skills within advanced manufacturing engineering and engineering construction sectors. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to carry out metal fabrication work using things such as rolled steel joists, columns, channels, steel plate and metal sheet etc. Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through a mixture of practical hands-on work, theory-based classroom activities and workplace skill development which will be provided by a team of sector expert tutors. Installation Electrician / Maintenance Electrician Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those specialising or wanting to develop their skills in electrical installation. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to become an installation or maintenance electrician. Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Level 3	This apprenticeship is designed for those who have completed the Level 2 programme or have previous experience within Plumbing. It will provide apprentices with the core skills and knowledge needed to work as a site joiner on a building/commercial site fitting complex components such as windows or stairs, or as a bench joiner making more bespoke pieces, such as items of furniture. Bricklayer Level 2	This apprenticeship is designed for new entrants or those with relatively little experience.
