Meet the Course Leader

Sally Dunne, Course Leader, Hairdressing

"I completed my apprenticeship and worked as a stylist at Inter-coiffure member salon, Headline. I've worked as a self-employed hairdresser for many years alongside teaching roles, and now I'm Course Leader at Calderdale College. I have a circle of friends in the industry and I?m married to a hairdresser, and this has really helped me keep in touch with what salons and employers require. The combination of facilities, atmosphere and tutors who really know the industry makes Calderdale College a great place to learn this exciting and creative profession."

Student Testimonial

Former Level 3 Hairdressing student, Stevie Brooks

"I'm here because I needed to improve my future for my son, so I came to College to get more qualifications and to get better job opportunities. I like coming and socialising with my friends and learning all these different techniques. I would definitely recommend the course, you learn loads and the tutors are all friendly and nice and it's a good environment. I want to go into a salon and work for 5 years and then I want to go to university to study to be a tutor."
