Course Overview

This qualification will support learners to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in a range of clinical healthcare support settings, and in health and adult care environments.

It covers a wide range of areas including dementia awareness, mental health and well-being, supporting individuals with their physical and emotional needs.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

Applicants to this course are required to obtain 5 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above.

Applicants will be required to attend an interview with the course tutor.

Progression

After successfully completing the course, students may progress onto a Level 3 T Level or Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social.

Assessment Methods

Students will be assessed throughout the course via work place observations, producing a course portfolio and professional discussions.
