Initially training in International Communication Management at university, Faiza wanted a career change and enrolled onto our Level 3 Award in Education and Training course at the College to achieve her ambition of helping other adults realise their full potential.

“The flexible study schedule on the course meant that I could balance being a mum alongside my studies. I then progressed onto the Level 4 and now I am a Higher Education Progress Coach here at the College.

“I chose to study a course for adults at Calderdale College to gain credible qualifications that I can carry with me throughout my career. As an adult student, I really benefitted from the smaller classroom sizes as I got 1-1 support from my tutors (who are now my colleagues).

“For anyone wanting to get back into education or employment, I’d say just go for it. When you start, you’ll have the opportunity to find your feet, meet your tutors and see if the course is right for you.
