Bradley Pickles - Trade Hub

Bradley Pickles, a TradeHub student at Calderdale College has set himself some ambitious career goals and, with the help of our experienced tutors, nationally recognised qualifications and industry standard facilities, hopes to achieve them.

Bradley is in his first year of studying at Calderdale College and chose the TradeHub programme as it suits his desire for hands-on learning, practical lessons and structured support from our experienced staff.

The TradeHub course has been designed by Calderdale College to give students a taster into the trades. The 36-week-long course is taught by industry experienced tutors and is perfect for those wanting an introduction to construction, to gain skills and decide which trade-path to pursue a career in.

Bradley hopes to enter a career in the military and is confident that a construction qualification will help him excel. He said: “The environment I get to learn in at Calderdale College is great. It is very inspiring and encourages me to work hard.

“My aim is to join the army, but I would like a good qualification to help me both climb the ranks and have a job when I leave.”
