Course Overview

A Level 4 Apprenticeship for those who wish to gain a significant qualification for the business world.

Our Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Apprenticeship Programme is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge you need to create a lasting positive impact on your organisation’s sustainability agenda. By completing this course, you will join a diverse network of businesses on a journey towards a more sustainable West Yorkshire, all helping to shape the future of environmentally responsible practices.

This programme will empower you to significantly contribute to your organisation’s sustainability goals and initiatives. Working in the private, public, or third sector and in all sizes of organisation, specific responsibilities and job titles will vary, but the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed will be the same.

Modules/Highlights:

Students on this course will receive a membership to the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, the UK’s professional body for practitioners.

While on the programme, students will:

Develop the essential skills and learn to manage their organisation’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability campaigns / projects / events.
Engage in themed days and workshops hosted by leading organisations
Attend masterclasses and seminars to benefit from the expertise of keynote speakers

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

Applicants must be in existing employment and in a role that is relevant to the qualification, looking to develop their careers. You will be required to work towards Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.

Progression

Successful students can progress on to various roles within the sector.

Career Opportunities:

Business Coordinator, Social Impact Administrator, Sustainability Coordinator, Community Investment Coordinator.

Assessment Methods

Students will be assessed through the completion of a portfolio of evidence and assessor guidance.
