Level 2 Diploma
This standard includes End Point Assessments for certification of the apprenticeship
The Level 2 Diploma in Professional Hairdressing is a newly created qualification. The Diploma will lead to the achievement of the Hairdressing Professional Standard, alongside the relevant functional skills and the End Point Assessment (EPA) module.
Our apprenticeship can be delivered completely in the work place (your salon) or you can combine working at your salon with one day per week at our college where you will upskill in all areas of the programme.
We will prepare you throughout the programme to be confident and productive in your role in the salon and will provide you with all the tools you will need in order to confidently take part in the end point assessment.
If you have a creative flair and a passion for the hairdressing industry then this is the apprenticeship for you.
The Diploma for the Hairdressing Professional is a qualification designed for learners who are at least 16 years old and who wish to develop the skills and knowledge needed to begin to work as a Hairdresser.

A discussion will take place between the applicant, the employer and the Training Officer to establish whether the range of work is available to ensure that the apprentice can achieve.
Existing maths and English skill levels will also be assessed at this meeting.

Ideally on completion of your Apprenticeship you will be able to move onto the Advanced Apprenticeship to further develop the skills that you have gained at Level 2.
