The Pearson BTEC Higher National Certificate (Level 4) and Diploma (Level 5) in Counselling and Applied Psychology offer a comprehensive pathway into the field, combining theory with practical skills.
Aligned with the BACP Ethical Framework, the course requires students to complete 100 face-to-face client hours, preparing them for professional practice. This BACP-recognised course enables graduates to apply for registered membership with the BACP, following completion of client hours and a Certificate in Competence.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process
No formal entry requirements. Students in recent education are likely to need: BTEC Level 3 in a related subject or a GCE Advanced Level profile in a related subject.
Our Recognition of Prior Learning policy means that students’ previous learning and experience can be taken into account, and they may be awarded certain qualifications or units of a qualification based on that learning or experience.
Students will undergo a standard interview process.

Course Fees
£7950 per year
Eligible to receive the £500 University Centre Bursary in Year 1.
