Course Overview

The qualification is designed to develop knowledge of coaching and mentoring principles and practice. This will support learners in further developing their understanding of the impact of coaching on performance in a contextualised environment.

During this course you will become well equipped in all aspects of:

  • Understand the principles of coaching and mentoring
  • Understand the skills required of a coach
  • Understand the skills required of a mentor
  • Understand the impact of coaching and mentoring an individual, team or organisational performance.

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 19 years of age and above.

Students will be invited for a standard interview.

Progression

Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as: TQUK Level 5 Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring, TQUK Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training and TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training.

Career Opportunities

Professional Coach or Mentor.

Assessment Methods

Units will be assessed through a mix of written and practical assessments.
