Course Overview

MS Teams is a collaboration platform. The purpose of this training session is to explain how to use MS Teams to organise and attend online meetings and appointments, communicate with colleagues and share files and information.

This course is aimed at beginners seeking to learn how to use Microsoft Teams. No prior experience is required.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Access MS Teams via the web and desktop apps.
  • Be familiar with the main features of MS Teams.
  • Be able to communicate with colleagues using chat and calls facilities.
  • Be able to set up a team and use it to communicate with colleagues and share information.
  • Use the calendar function to organise and attend online meetings.
  • Participate in online meetings.
  • Set up and join break out rooms.
  • Access files saved in Office 365 applications.
