Course Overview

This course is a Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) accredited qualification.

It sets the international benchmark for the people profession and provides a strong foundation to give professionals the confidence and capabilities to guide their decision-making, actions and behaviours.

This course is suited to those learners who are studying and aspiring for a career in people practice, in a support role and wishing to develop their knowledge to deliver immediate and short-term value for their organisation.

During this course you will become well equipped in all aspects of:

  • Business, culture and change in context
  • Principles of analytics
  • Core behaviours for people professionals
  • Essentials of people practice

January 2025

4 hours per week (3 hours teaching, plus an opportunity for a one-to-one tutorial).

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

This qualification is designed for learners who want to learn about people practice.

Although there are no formal entry requirements, there is a diagnostics assessment to ensure that this qualification is appropriate you, followed by an interview.

Assessment Methods

All units are assessed by written assignments, case studies, simulated interviews and reports.

Formative assessment is also encouraged within each unit.
