T-Level Animal Care and Management

Course Info

T Level Animal Care and Management is a 2-year course, helping you develop the essential skills and knowledge needed for a career in the animal industry.

 

The first year focuses on knowledge which is common across all animal sectors, while the second year focuses on an occupational specialism within the animal industry. Throughout the course, you will have opportunities to develop core skills for employment within the industry:

  • Communicating
  • Critical thinking
  • Decision making
  • Investigating
  • Working in a team

 

You will also undertake a minimum of 315 hours of industry placement, which will span across both years of the course.

Course Fees

This course is free for students aged 16 – 18.

Assessment Methods

Throughout this course, students will be assessed via written exams, employer set projects, research projects and practical assessments.
