Calderdale College Experience Days

Who is this for? Our College Experience Days are perfect for Year 10 and 11 students who are thinking about their next steps and would like to find out more about the options available to them.
What is it about? Our College Experience Days aim to insight, inspire and inform your students about the options available to them post 16. It will be packed with engaging and useful sessions that students will have chosen themselves to explore the subject areas that interest them the most. The sessions will give a taste of how vocational courses are delivered and students will also get the chance to explore our campus.
Sessions: Students will be asked to pick a 1st and 2nd subject that they would like to experience. As well as this we are offering a ‘Go Higher Session’ for students who are considering Further Education.
Sessions on offer are:
• Animal Care • Art, Design and Media • Beauty • Brickwork • Business • Childcare • Clinical/Dentistry • Computing • Electrical • Engineering • Hair • Healthcare • Joinery • Motor Vehicle* • Music Technology • Painting and Decorating • Performing Arts • Plumbing • Public Services • Sport
*Please note Motor Vehicle is offered at a different location and is only available as a full day session on Wednesday 30 January. More information will be provided upon request.
