National Apprenticeship Week 2020 Round-up

This week we’ve been celebrating National Apprenticeship Week with a variety of fun events such as cook offs, dodgeball, quizzes and more.

Here’s a quick round up of what we’ve been up to:

Monday

Monday kicked things off with free haircuts for job seekers in the Calderdale area from our hairdressing students, plus Calderdale Masterchef where a selection of our staff worked with Catering students to compete against each other to make the best starter, main and dessert.

Our Director of Commercial Services and Partnerships, Ebrahim Dockrat, won round one with his signature spicy tomato and basil soup.

Head of Data Services, Matthew Swallow and his student assistant Marcus, mopped up the rest of the rounds winning best dish for both main and dessert courses. Well done Matt!
