Course Overview

Microsoft Excel is a popular spreadsheet system. Excel enables users to store, organise, calculate and manipulate data with formulas using a spreadsheet system broken up by rows and columns.  Excel is a vital tool for being more efficient with large amounts of data and calculations.

Course participants will be using the MS Excel 2019 desktop application to create a simple spreadsheet using data and will be able to create graphs and charts.

  • Access MS Excel in the desktop app.
  • Use the desktop app to perform a range of basic Excel tasks.
  • Enter and manipulate data.
  • Use basic formulas.
  • Edit and format worksheets.
  • Create graphs and charts.
  • Save and print files.

The course is aimed at beginners seeking to learn how to use Microsoft Excel. No prior experience is required.
