Course Overview

This course is a stepping stone for those that want to work in adult social care, covering the underpinning values, skills and knowledge needed to go to work.

During this course you will become well equipped in all aspects of:

  • Communication
  • Safeguarding
  • Roles of a social care worker
  • Health and safety
  • Duty of care

Entry Requirements & Interview Process

5 GCSE grade 3’s including Maths and English language.

All applicants will be invited for an interview.

Progression

On successful completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to progress onto T Level Health or find apprenticeship work.

Assessment Methods

You will be assessed throughout the course by completing coursework.
